As
part of the Windows Opening to Classrooms of Tomorrow project,
class 10LH4 is organizing a meeting with engineer José Carlos Silva and
psychologist Maria José Barbosa, dedicated to the theme “The dangers of
the internet and their consequences in our lives.”
This
initiative aims to raise students’ awareness of safer and more mindful use of
digital technologies, encouraging reflection on the impact of the internet on
everyday life, namely in areas such as privacy, cyberbullying, misinformation,
and time management online.
The goal is to help everyone develop digital citizenship skills, promoting responsible, critical, and respectful attitudes in the digital environment, in line with the spirit of Safer Internet Day, which seeks to involve schools and communities in building a better internet for children and young people.
